Upward Bound Program

Our Program

Upward Bound (UB) is a federally funded U.S. Department of Education TRIO program that helps low-income and first-generation community youth achieve college and career success by providing a year-round comprehensive system of support including tutoring, college entrance examination preparation, college and financial aid application assistance, and cultural field trips. The program is FREE to eligible students.

Locations

• The Upward Bound Program at Vaughn College services students at three sites:

• Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology. Our main office is located in the Academic Success Center on the second floor of the library.

• August Martin High School in Jamaica, Queens. Guidance Office.

• Grover Cleveland High School in Ridgewood, Queens. Guidance Office.

• John Bowne High School in Flushing, Queens. Guidance Office.

• William Cullen Bryant High School in Queens. Guidance Office.
